The name Pemo comes from the union of Abruzzo’s two principal grape varieties – Percorino and Montepulciano, which have been cultivated in the area since 200BC.

Pemo Pecorino and Montepulciano are produced in a modern way, while respecting the local traditions.

The values and philosophy of Pemo can be seen immediately in their labels: authenticity and tradition, resepct for this wonderful region of contrasts between the sea and the mountains. We decided to depict all this through two animals that symbolise these elements:  the fox which lives on land, in the woods and mountains: and the whale – a wonderful symbol of the sea which represents gentleness and strength.
